Starting my career at a former Dutch Royal Palace, taught me about hospitality and making people feel welcomed. We welcomed all kinds of people from different backgrounds and nationalities in the museum, on our exhibitions, dinners and events. Connecting those experiences to my university degree in Communications and Social sciences; I consistently work on “Integrated communications”.
Consistency in messaging, branding, tone of voice and behaviour in everything you do, say and feel. Neither organisations nor individuals can say A and do B. To me, it is all about authenticity, integrity and transparency.
When your organisation is dealing with a crisis situation, tell people what you do know. Even if you don’t have all the details and answers yet.
Same goes for organisational change. You can’t expect people to stay engaged and motivated if you are not transparent and honest in your communication.
And when you are presenting, your audience will immediately notice if you say something you don’t mean.
My Approach
It all begins with our first connection. A telephone call, a personal encounter. Eye contact, listening, observing. Asking questions. We start with an intake to find out your real (business) need. Once we have this clearified, we can define which approach suits your situation best. A workshop, a training, a 1 on 1 coaching session. Or maybe you need interim support to get your team or project up and running. Additionally I can be your connecting host during your live or online event.
